WWE.com: WWE’s Top 25 Entourages Of All Time

#20 – The Brood

Before Edge was the Rated-R Superstar, he was blood-thristy as a member of The Brood. With Gangrel front and center, the group that led a “gothic lifestyle” spread fear through WWE. When the lights in the arena would go out, then flicker red, fans knew they would soon see a bloodbath. Appropriately, The Brood was known for their association with the Ministry Of Darkness – as they were both allies and enemies of the Undertaker’s entourage.

The Hardcore Truth – An Instant Classic

SOURCE: A few weeks ago on Impact! we witnessed Christian Cage being laid out by The Main Event Mafia (MEM). The keyfabe reason given for the beat down was eerily similar to the real reason, as reported on numerous wrestling websites. The reason is Christian’s contract is up and TNA management are not sure if they will be able to resign Cage. Total Non-Stop Action (TNA) Wrestling has made an offer but so has a larger, more economically stable company, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

At this point many are speculating Christian will be signing and returning to the WWE. Many feel WWE’s recent signing of Tomko is foreshadowing of things to come with Christian. Also with a hurting economy, many feel the WWE would be Christian’s smartest choice. The only problem which may occur for Christian if he signs with the WWE is how he gets used. The WWE roster is filled with big names such as Triple H, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Edge, Batista, Chris Jericho, and Jeff Hardy, to name a few. Where would Christian fit in amongst the rich talent roster?

In the parking lot Lauren approaches Christian Cage and asks him about having to join the Main Event Mafia tonight. Cage says it doesn’t matter what his thoughts are because he doesn’t have a choice. Kurt Angle then walks up with the rest of the Main Event Mafia and welcomes him to the family. Kurt says that they are going to give him a welcome party like he’s never had before. He says that tonight he becomes a made man and then Scott Steiner hands him a suit. As they walk off Kevin Nash sniffs Lauren’s hair, when they leave Cage stuffs the suit into a garbage can.

Rob Van Dam Comments On Christian

Ron Van Dam was on Monday Night Mayhem and briefly spoke on the subject of Christian returning to the WWE, here’s what was said:

The biggest story of the past week has been “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage reportedly returning to the WWE & departing TNA Wrestling. Mosh & Blade asked RVD for his thoughts on this hot story & whether or not Christian will get lost in the “WWE shuffle.” Rob described Christian’s chances of making it to the top of World Wrestling Entertainment as “excellent,” based on the fact that he was well-liked by the office, & would be “welcomed back with open arms” not only by the office, but by WWE fans across the world.
