The next day was Lita's funeral. Edge wasn't charged with anything.
Not ONE Thing. He didn't even have to go to jail. The police said that he was
just trying to save himself, typical self-defense. It didn't matter to anyone
that he killed Lita. No, the only person it mattered to was HIM. He loved
her...she was there for him when Molly was prancing off with Edge. She helped
him plot his revenge. She did everything for him and Edge had taken her away
from him. It wasn't fair. Life wasn't fair. Love wasn't fair...nothing was
ever fair for Jason.

The harder he tried to burn out Molly and Edge's flame....the more he failed.
And now...because of him...because of Lita wanting to show him how much she
really loved him...she was dead. He would never forgive himself...that's for
sure. But he would fight....fight for Lita. He would make sure she got her
Payback.

Even though she may not be with him in flesh and blood...she was with
him....in his heart....

He looked one last time around him making sure no-one was there...dropped the
blood-red roses on her grave and sank down to cry.
