When he came round his first thoughts were not of his brother, but of why on earth was it raining inside?!

Edge slowly opened his eyes, everything before him appeared fuzzy and blurred, blinking desperately a few times trying to regain his vision. Slowly things became clearer. His fingers scooped up the rain that was calling on his face, since when was rain a deep red?

Edge realized that it wasn't rain, it was his blood. Then it suddenly all came rushing back to him, the deer, swerving, and now the pain.

The car had managed to miss the baby dear, sending it tumbling on a rollercoaster ride towards a tree. The car had rolled over on itself a few times, before smashing into a tree, the passenger's side of the car where Christian was sitting slammed into the tree with full force.

Edge tried to move, his lower limbs seems trapped, squished, unable to sense or feel anything. Least we're the right way up Edge thought to himself, though thinking was hard as the pain rushed though his head. And that's when he first heard them, the cries, that would haunt his sleep.

"EDGE...GOD EDGE WAKE UP...please..ohhh God it hurts, it hurts!"

The older brothers eyes immediately fixed on the screaming brother, dread filling his body. Christian was pinned in his seat just like Edge. The door next to the little brother, was crushed, crumpled by the tree, the metal pierced into the young blonds body, the dashboard in front of him, crammed up against his chest, glass shattered around his face. Only Christian's left arm was free to move itself about, not that it wanted to, considering the pain that ripped though his body.

"Edge.. Edge help me, make it stop, AHHHH" His please piercing the older brothers heart.

Edge desperately wanted to move, he forced his muscles to work, begging them with every inch of power left him his body, but it was no use, his legs were stuck, only his arms had movement. He did the only thing he could, with all his might he lent over to his younger sibling, and tried to wrap his strong arms around the pleading boy.

"Shhh Christian, I'm here, it's ok I'm here" desperately trying to slow his voice to calm Christian.

"It hurts, God it hurts, ouch, please stop it, the metals inside me, its cutting me, make it stop please.. HELP ME" Christian's voice was wild now, the pain taking control of his body, sending him into uncontrollable fits of trembling.

Edge's mind raced for answers, what could he do? He had no idea where the mobile phone he carried was, probably flung out the window onto the hard green dirt as the car tumbled out of control. He couldn't move, his legs were pinned. He had to help his brother.

"Christian can you move at all? I need to know!"

Christian frantically tried to slip his arm out of it's position, only to cause a scream of overwhelming pain to escape his lips.

"AHHHHHHHH Edge it's cutting me stop it, stop it!"

Edge couldn't think, his breathing became more rapid than before, his heart racing, filling like a cup with fear for his little brother, and his own life. The rain, no blood continued to lash down his face, stinging his eye. Causing eyes to become blurry, turning themselves off and on again, he couldn't stop the overwhelming pain in his head.

"Christian, Christian?" Edge's voice was almost a whisper now, it took all of his strength to stay focused on his brother.

"EDGE.. EDGE talk to me, talk me, are you there? EDGE noooo Don't leave me, EDGE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo"

The older blond felt his icy grip on his brother loosen, the world seeming to spin uncontrollably, he wanted to get off this ride. His hands slowly slipping, no he must keep his grip on his brother, but the darkness. The darkness surrounded him, creeping up on him, overwhelming him. His eyes slowly shut, his ears hearing his brothers screams before it was to late.
