Cage became the talk of the wrestling world when he shunned a contract
extension offer from WWE and jumped to TNA in November 2005 at the
promotion's Genesis pay-per-view ... Was officially declared
number-one contender to the title after defeating Monty Brown at
Turning Point ... Forged a bond with Sting in an effort to keep the
legend wrestling in TNA ... Defeated Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World
title in February 2006 ... Vowed to retain the title in the "King Of
The Mountain" match at Slammiversary, but that was not to be ... Lost
the championship in a controversial finish that saw Jarrett regain the
title ... Brought his finisher the "Unprettier," a version of the
"Tomakazee," with him from WWE.

Tyson Tomko may have been his "Problem Solver" for much of the last
year, but Christian still seemed to get himself in his share of hot
water ... Considered by some to be one of the more versatile wrestlers
in WWE ... Three-time Intercontinental champion has also held the
WWE/Raw tag team title on nine different occasions ... Perpetually
underrated by both fans and peers, but tirelessly championed by his
vocal "peeps" ... Deeply dislikes current WWE champion John Cena and
challenged him to a "rap-off" at the 2005 Royal Rumble ... Recently
drafted by Smackdown, with which he could finally get his due as a
main-eventer.

Despite an impressive resume that includes multiple Intercontinental, tag
team, and light heavyweight title runs, the "Creepy Little Bastard"
remains one of WWE's most underrated wrestlers ... Apparently Trish
Stratus liked his credentials, however ... Didn't fare well in his feud
with Chris Jericho, although he did upset him at WrestleMania ... Missed
several months this summer with a back injury.
