Wrestling superstars are coming to BCHS
Tonight -- for one night only -- Bristol will take over as the wrestling capital of the world when Northeast Wrestling invades the gym at Central High School.

With a collection of superstars at the top of their profession, from the WWE to TNA to independent promotions from around the country, Central will take center stage as Wrestlefest X kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

"It’s going to be a great, family-friendly show," said Kurt Juszczyk, a Bristol Central graduate who will be wrestling as Kurt Adonis tonight. "It’s going to be a lot of fun for everybody."

Juszczyk, who lives in Bristol, has a lot to be excited about this year. Not only will he be wrestling for just the second time in his hometown, but he is on the same card with such wrestling greats as Jerry "The King" Lawler, TNA world champion Christian Cage, and former WWE stars Billy Kidman and Tommy Dreamer.....

The main event will feature TNA star and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Christian Cage taking on former WWE champion Billy Kidman in a non-title contest. The match will be a first for Christian as he will make his independent show debut.

"It’s going to be different than what I’ve done for the last eight years," Christian said this week. "It’s going to be up close and personal with the fans; a more intimate setting."

Christian: "If you want to become a pro wrestler I couldn't think of a better person to be trained by than Lance Storm. Having known Lance for ten years and been his travelling partner for a few of those I know that he is an honest person with tremendous passion for the business, not to mention one of the best technical wrestlers I've ever seen. What I admire about Lance is there's no B.S he tells it like it is. If I were breaking into the wrestling business and I wanted to be trained PROPERLY I would go see Lance Storm."
