WWE bios:
Christian made his WWE debut in 1997. His first match set the tone for his remarkable career, as he won the WWE Light Heavyweight Championship.

Originally part of the Brood, Christian soon decided to partner with Edge and compete in the tag-team division. At WrestleMania 2000, the two etched their place in history by defeating the Hardy Boyz and Dudleys in a thrilling Ladder Match for the World Tag Team Championship. This would not be their last, as they went on to win the Tag Team titles a remarkable seven times. When he joined the Un-Americans in 2002, he won it twice more, once with Lance Storm, and then later won it one more time with Chris Jericho.

In addition to his tag-team success, Christian has flourished as a single performer. At WrestleMania X8, he captured the Hardcore Championship. On September 23, 2001, he defeated Edge for his first Intercontinental Championship. Christian’s second Intercontinental Championship reign came on May 18, 2003, at Judgment Day, when he won a Battle Royal featuring past Intercontinental Champions. The third time was when he took it from Booker T in August 2003, a month after Booker and won it from him.

In early 2004, Christian stole Chris Jericho’s love interest, Trish Stratus, and secured bodyguard Tyson Tomko to serve as an enforcer. Although neither move endeared him to the fans, Christian could care less. As his opponents have found out, underestimating his talent and will to win can be costly. Surely, it’s only a matter of time before he can claim the one championship he wants most: The World Heavyweight Championship.

Time and time again, Christian has proved that he is not a friend worth having. WWE fans first saw Christian's true colors when he violently attacked his own brother, Edge, a few years ago. While disgusting, the move did result in some of the most breathtaking matches in WWE history.

Christian showed his true colors again when he not only turned his back on his longtime best friend Chris Jericho, but also stole Y2J's love interest. Together, Christian and Jericho dominated the RAW tag team circuit. In addition, they both enjoyed immense singles success, while still remaining close friends. They were so close that Jericho would tell Christian everything about himself, including his crush on Trish Stratus. Not long after, Christian went out and wooed Trish to be his own.

In the ring, however, Christian's success is hard to argue with. Despite his cocky attitude, Christian has one of the most impressive won-loss records on the RAW roster. Some of his biggest victories include winning the TLC Match at WrestleMania X-Seven, pinning Edge for the Intercontinental Championship at Unforgiven 2001 and defeating Jericho at WrestleMania XX.

Christian may not be the most-liked member of the RAW roster, and his methods to achievement could be questionable at times, but no matter what people think of him, he should be a top RAW Superstar for a long time to come.

The Rock is arguably the all time greatest entertainer in the history of professional wrestling. So to get a compliment from him means a great deal. Christian recently received the greatest of compliments from The People's Champ when The Rock told him that he was his favorite wrestler. Christian obviously returned the compliment and the two went on to develop a great friendship.

When The Rock left RAW to make another movie, he anointed Christian the New People's Champ. Christian does not take this title lightly. As the New People's Champ, Christian claims that everything he does in the ring is done for all of his "peeps."

As of late, Christian's in-ring performance has been superb. His athleticism brought him to the Intercontinental Championship once again at Judgment Day when he won a battle royal consisting of former IC Champs. In addition to his athleticism, Christian's charisma always make for an entertaining segment for RAW.
