Welcome Back To Instant-Classic.org!

Hey peeps, welcome back to Instant-Classic.org!

First off, I want to thank each and every one of you who have stuck by me for these past few years, especially during the hiatus. It was a break that I needed to have and I had to take a step back from here because over the last few years, I just wasn’t able to put much effort into this site, not through lack of trying of course, just a lot of personal reasons. But I just have to thank everyone for the patience and support, I appreciate it so very much.

Over the past few months I’ve been working stupidly hard (yes I did just say that) on revamping the site as I hadn’t changed much of anything for going on three years. Because of that and because of how the site has been run for the last couple of years, I decided that it would be best to start all over again; a new beginning.

With that being the case, not only has the site got a new look, but I’ve also archived the gallery which will hold photos up to 2012. Also, as a side note the site is also mobile ready, so to anyone who accesses the site via their mobile phones or tablets it can be easily viewed, this option is also able to be shut off so you can view the site either way – this has been the case even before the hiatus but I thought it would be best to at least mention it.

Over the next few, well, however long it takes me, I’ll be adding all of the missing photos to the archived gallery as well as a few newer ones to our newest gallery, including missing screen captures, magazine scans and many other things.

Again, I just want to thank everyone out there for having a lot of patience with me, during the hiatus. I’d love to hear any feedback from you guys, so be sure to let us know what you all think via Twitter and/or Facebook.

Instant-Classic.org – 5 Years Online
Happy Anniversary!

Today marks Instant-Classic.org’s fifth anniversary. I know that this year has been an uneventful one, with Christian being injured throughout most of it and the site not being updated as much as it used to be, there’s not much to say. But I can say this, I just want to thank each and every one of you guys and girls out there for having the patience to wait for the site to go live once again, it means a lot, especially with how the past few years have been. This next year though, I’m hoping that everything will be different.

I also wanted to take a moment to thank someone who sadly passed away a few months ago, Hayleigh. I will never be able to thank her enough. If it wasn’t for her, I would have never had the chance to meet Christian back in 2011. She never had to do what she did for me, but out of the kindness of her heart, she helped make that happen. Even though I’ve said it many times in the past, my condolences go out to Shirleigh, the entire Kaur family as well as everyone that knew and loved Hayleigh. Rest In Peace Hayleigh, you are dearly missed.

There is an online fundrasier that is still on-going which is trying to raise money for the Kaur family because of this tragedy. If you would like to donate, please visit The Kaur Fund.

Instant-Classic.org – Four Years Online

Ok, so it’s two day’s after the actual anniversary, but that doesn’t make this moment right now any less special does it? 😀

Anyway, Wednesday marked the fourth anniversary of Instant Classic and I know that I say this every year, but I never thought that the site would make it this far. I know that it’s been a turbulent year of the site and I know that I haven’t put as much effort into it as I have the previous years and I am very sorry for that, I’ve built the site from the ground up and gone through way too much to just give up, so I can guarantee you this, no matter what, I have no plans to give up any time soon. I just hope that, even though this site has dropped of the radar a little, I can bring it back up to the same level that it was in previous years. To all of you out there that have followed the site from the very beginning, or even if you’ve just found out about us recently, I want to take the time to say I’m sorry – sure I may sound a little too serious in saying this, but I’ve been meaning to say all of this for quite a while now.

So…now that’s over…I just want to say thanks. Thank you as always to Carmisha and David, no matter what may have happened, you guys have stuck by Instant Classic from the start, hell even before then! Thanks to everyone who has supported the site and stuck by us for the past four years. To our new visitors, thanks so much for taking the time to check the site out and I hope that I’m doing the best job that I can! Another big thank you to everyone out there, whether you’ve just stumbled upon the site, you casually check it out, you’ve donate,.d anything, sent me messages, just thank you for being apart of making Instant Classic the longest running and hopefully still the best source for Captain Charisma, Christian! I hope that you guys will continue to support us in the future too! 🙂

As always, I just have to thank the man himself, Christian! I know that I don’t have to say this, but I do every year, so why break tradition, right? 😉 If it wasn’t for you, this place wouldn’t be here. As I always say. thank you for everything that you have done for the Peeps worldwide, you know that no matter what, we’ll always continue to support you 100% and I hope that even after all of this time, this site still makes you proud! I also want to take this time to wish you the best in your recovery! Hope to see you back on our screens soon! 🙂

Lastly, if you haven’t noticed, we’ve also got a new look on both the main site as well as the gallery, which I hope all like! Thanks again to everyone out there! Here’s to another year and me actually remembering the date next time! 😀

Instant-Classic.org – Three Years Online

Today marks the third anniversary of Instant Classic and I have to say, wow…I never thought I’d make it this far. This year has been a very memorable one, to say the least, with a lot of highs and lows, for me personally and also for Christian, professionally of course.

It’s funny, I remember when I wrote last year’s anniversary message and it doesn’t feel like a whole year has gone by. I remember mentioning that I never had the chance to meet him, like so many others have and I also remember that this time, last year, he was out injured after tearing his pectoral muscle. I know that this sounds cliche but how time changes many things.

Back in February, as everyone knows, Christian made his return to the WWE at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and has been at the top of his game ever since. He stood by his best friend, Edge’s (Adam Copeland) side during what was to be his last match at Wrestlemania 27 earlier this year and after Edge’s sudden retirement Christian became a main eventer and won the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. Sure, he lost it on the following Smackdown broadcast, but he was able to win the Championship back from Randy Orton at Money In The Bank, back in July. Even though he may no longer be the World Heavyweight Champion, he’s still doing the Peeps proud and no matter what, we’ll always be there cheering him on, whether he likes it or not! 😀

Instant Classic Report: So, I’ve Finally Met Christian!

At the beginning of the day, I honestly didn’t think that the meeting would be able to take place and I was completely fine if nothing came of it, but just before I left to get to the arena, I checked Instant Classic’s twitter account and I saw that I received a message from Christian. He just wanted me to let him know if I was definitely going to the Smackdown taping.

When I got to The O2 arena with my friend Carmisha, I sent a message back to let him know that I was in the area and I was going to be in the crowd during the taping. When the arena doors opened, after we got to our seats and settled down, I checked my twitter account once again to see if there were any updates, there was. He just told me that he’ll figure something out after the show. Me being me, I sent him a message back saying that I was sitting in the second row and to look out for an ‘Instant Classic’ sign on an iPad (it was Hayleigh’s iPad). After the taping, when Christian stepped off of the ladders and the ring was cleared he started talking to the in-house crowd, I noticed that he was actually looking around in our area a few times, so I guessed he may have spotted the sign before. A few moments later, he stepped out of the ring and walked to the back as the show closed.

New Layouts!

It’s been 11 months in the making, ok it hasn’t been 11 months, more like 2, but it has been 11 months since we’ve seen a new look up here, today that all changes! As you can see we’ve not only got one, but two new layouts up on the site, the first as you can see (and if you can’t, simply clear your caches) is on the main site and the second is a matching layout for our gallery The Peep Show!

Hope that everyone likes them as much as I do! 😀

Instant Classic – Two Years Online

Peepulation rejoice, for today marks the 2nd anniversary of Instant Classic! It’s been yet another crazy year, let’s face it, the site has grown so much over the last 12 months!

We may not have gone through the same trials and tribulations that we went through on our first year though, but in my eyes, it’s been one of the best year’s that I could have hoped for, well for the most part anyway.

I was lucky enough to see Christian compete in two matches, back in April, when the WWE toured Europe and taped their weekly shows in London. I have to admit, I may not have been able to meet Christian, like many of you lucky people have had the opportunity to, but just seeing him live in the ring was good enough for me!

The Peeps worldwide have also been lucky enough to be able to communicate with Captain Charisma himself, after he joined the social networking site, Twitter, at the end of August, where he has over 40,000 followers already!

Unfortunately though, with all of this good news there’s a little bit of bad news to go with it. Recently we were all made aware of an injury that has taken Christian out for up to six months, I know that I can speak for the rest of you when I say that we will miss seeing Christian on our screens, but we can all take solace in the fact that he’s in safe hands on the road to recovery. After some well deserved rest I’m sure that we’ll be seeing Christian, in a few months time, better than ever before.

With all of the being said, I first want to thank Carmisha and David again, you all should know by now, if it wasn’t for them, this site would have never been created. I also want to thank everyone who has ever taken the time to visit the site, left a comment or even donated anything. I really do appreciate you guys for standing by the site for as long as you have. To our new visitors, I hope that the site will be your first stop for everything Christian / Jay Reso related in the coming future too. I try to do the best that I can and I hope that you also realise that this place would not be where it is today if it wasn’t for you. I hope that you all continue to visit, whether you’re a new visitor, or even if you been visiting the site since the very beginning and I hope that I can keep up the very same standards, when it comes to Instant Classic, that I have been doing for the past two years.

Now, of course I have to thank the man himself, Jay Reso. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit the site, it may be a stupidly obvious thing to say but if it wasn’t for you, the site wouldn’t be here in the first place. Thank you for taking the time to leave me messages and I’m happy to know that you liked what you saw when you first decided to take a look at the site, it really means a lot. I know that you’ll probably continue to thank me for all of the hard work that I put into this place, but to be honest, it’s something that I love to do and as corny as it sounds, you’re an inspiration to many of us, so running this site for as long as I have (and will continue to do), has and always will be a pleasure. No matter where anything takes you in life, I just hope that you know that your fans, the Peeps, will continue to support you no matter what! Thanks again for everything Jay! 🙂

Sure, there’s no guarantee that he’ll read it but I know that you all will 😉

In closing, I just want to show you all the message that Christian himself left me this afternoon, via twitter, after finding out that Instant Classic had been running for 2 years.

Wow 2 yrs… Thx 4 the support & all the time & effort u put into the site.
