The Peep Show with special guest Chris Jericho
We go to the ring and out comes Christian to a big pop for a The Peep Show. Christian says he’s missed us a lot. He says tonight isn’t about him, it’s Night of Champions. Christian says one match has his interest tonight – Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho. Christian brings out Jericho to the ring, who comes out to a big pop. Jericho is excited to be on The Peep Show and even more excited to have Christian here.

They jokingly argue about when they used to team together. Jericho apologizes for not wearing pants to The Peep Show. They start talking about Randy Orton and Orton interrupts on the big screen. Orton takes credit for Christian not being able to wrestle any more. Orton says when he’s done with Jericho tonight, the only TV show he’ll be able to appear on is Total Divas. Jericho says Orton’s show would be Total Jackass. Jericho fires back at Orton and tells him not to forget who he’s facing tonight.

WWE.com: The Top 10 Matches of 2014…So Far

#8. Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena vs. Cesaro vs. Sheamus vs. Christian – WWE World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match (Elimination Chamber)
People forget how awesome this match was. They shouldn’t. On a night that was arguably headlined in spirit by the first clash between The Shield and The Wyatt Family (press pause on that for a minute), a wild bash for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship unfolded inside the twisted steel of “Satan’s Prison” that didn’t cease to surprise the WWE Universe for a single second.

Well, maybe the ultimate screwing of Daniel Bryan — yet again — out of the supreme prize by The Authority was something you could see coming from a mile away. But certainly not the perennial underdog Christian eliminating the Irish juggernaut Sheamus with a frog splash off the Chamber pods; or the ascendant Cesaro swinging Randy Orton like a hammer throw; or The Wyatts’ entrance into the Chamber to feast upon an unsuspecting John Cena. Going into this match the WWE Universe likely had their favorites, but with all six Superstars entering the Chamber before a single elimination was recorded, what sometimes seems like a formality on the final stop to WrestleMania suddenly took on an air of unpredictability. Anything really can happen in WWE, and for one night anything almost did.

WWE Magazine: Then & Now

WWE Magazine: What was the most important thing on your mind during that time?

Christian: I was just new to the company and coming in, so the most important thing on my mind was trying to establish myself, trying to make my mark. I always kind of viewed getting to WWE as my ultimate goal, but getting here and staying here were two completely different things. Having longevity and being able to stay relevant for a long time was truly important to me. I always had confidence in myself, but I had to make sure to take advantage of every opportunity and also to create opportunities of my own.

WWE Magazine: Christian then vs. Christian now. And the winner is?

Christian: Christian now, without a doubt. I’m smarter. And I’m a little more sly. I just think I’m better at this age than I was back then, and that comes from experience. But if you were to ask that guy in the photo, he was pretty cocky, so he’d probably tell you that he would win…but he wouldn’t.

WWE Magazine: What are the current whereabouts of the outfit in this photo?

Christian: I still own this one. I think it’s packed away in a plastic container at home. I don’t have it marked or hanging up or anything, although I know exactly where it is.
