E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness – 20th April 2018

What’s up, Hosers?! Welcome to another edition of E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness.

On this week’s show, we have one of RAW’s newest tag teams, Tyler Breeze and Fandango–Breezango!

Breezy and Dango talked about their transition to RAW and the challenge of being serious in the ring as funny characters, before covering their respective backstories as singles wrestlers. Also, Christian and Breeze started the pod off by remembering the time fantasy hockey almost derailed their friendship.

All that, plus the Strappers recapped Mock Mock Mania, and talked a little NHL playoff hockey.

But most importantly, E&C kicked things off with a tribute to the legendary Bruno Sammartino, who passed away earlier this week. Our thoughts are with all of Bruno’s loved ones.

Here we go.

E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness – 13th April 2018

Newly Crowned NXT Champion, Aleister Black!

What’s up, Hosers?

Welcome to another edition of E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness.

It’s the pod after WrestleMania, which is just as exciting as the Raw after WrestleMania, but with a few less surprises. The Strappers talked about their week in New Orleans, from shooting a new season of The E&C Show to inducting the Dudleyz into the HOF, and taking in WrestleMania in person–it was a busy one.

And don’t worry, they didn’t forget about the incredible NXT Takeover that went down the Saturday before Mania. Bird and Edge gave their thoughts on that show as well, before talking with NXT’s newest champ, Aleister Black.

Aleister talked about who he’d love to face in NXT, the journey that led him to the WWE, his constant desire to work harder, and how he’s acclimated to living in the U.S.

It was a great conversation. Enjoy, Hosers.

We’re taking the show on the road to New Orleans this week for WrestleMania 34, and it’s a big one.

The Strappers de Rocket sit down for the first time in a long time with two guys they have a long history with, none other than The Hardy Boyz, (Woken) Matt and Jeff Hardy. The guys take a walk down memory lane together and discuss some of their iconic TLC matches, The Dudley Boyz, the early days coming up together, and a lot more.

Welcome to another edition of E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness.

This week, we’re celebrating the one-year and one week anniversary of the show with a massive Q&A and appearances from our human interest specialists, the Phoenixed One and TOMMAYYYYYYYY.

Tommmmayyy discussed tagging with Billy Gunn and Jay being front and center in the Dudley Boyz’s Hall of Fame induction photo, before Beth joined the show to talk about her experience commentating the WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge.

Oh, and also, Paul Smackage issued an official response to Macaulay Culkin’s WrestleMania challenge. This episode had a little bit of everything, brother brother.

Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart Breakdown Their WrestleMania 13 Submission Match in Our Latest “Anatomy of a Match”

What’s up, Hosers?!

Welcome to a very special, once in a lifetime edition of E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness.

First things first, it’s our one-year anniversary! And what a year it’s been–Rocket Strapping, Paul Smackage, incredible guests, and TOMMAY! Thanks for all the support, and here’s to year two.

But before starting a new year of the show, we had to celebrate year one with our second ever “Anatomy of a Match.”

Stone Cold. Bret Hart. WrestleMania 13.

These legends joined the pod together to take us through the entire experience–the in-ring psychology, the double heel-face turn, making the decision to get color, the importance of Ken Shamrock, and the bloody sharpshooter that capped everything off.

It was truly a wrestling master class from two of the best to ever lace up the boots.

And before talking to Bret and Steve, the Strappers shared their thoughts on hitting the one-year mark, Daniel Bryan’s return, and The Ultimate Deletion.

Good Ol’ J.R.

What’s up, Hosers?! Welcome to another edition of E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness.

This week, the Strappers de Rocket sat down with a legend, a force, a monstrous Oklahoma Sooners fan, and one of the most respected men in the history of pro wrestling, Jim Ross.

Among the many topics discussed were: What Vince McMahon expected from his wrestlers; what he himself looked for while identifying and developing talent; and, of course, his favorite matches he’s ever called.

E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness – 9th March 2018

Sheamus and Cesaro,The Bar!

What’s up, Hosers? Welcome to another edition of E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness.

Here on the Pod of Awesomeness, we’re always striving for excellence–some may say that we set the…wait for it… BAR real high. And…hold on, here it comes… BARring technical difficulties, I think you’ll enjoy E&C’s interview with…THE BAR, Sheamus and Cesaro.

God, that was bad.

Anyway, The Rocket Strappers talked to RAW’s tag champs about how their team was formed, the transition from singles wrestling to tag team wrestling, and who they’d like to face, going forward. Also, Sheamus and Cesaro detailed how they stay in shape on the road and discussed Cesaro’s hatred of beach balls, among other things.

This episode had it all–a lot of laughs, some ranting, Christian singing Hey Jude, and a Tony, Toni, Tone reference.

E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness – 2nd March 2018

BOOYAKA Hosers, welcome to another edition of E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness.

I think I gave away this week’s guest with the first word of this description, but in case you still aren’t sure, it’s Rey Mysterio!

Rey jumped on with the Rocket Strappers to catch up on old times, recall the journey that turned him into the legend he is today, and speak on his future as a professional wrestler. Also, he talked in-depth about being unmasked, and got to hear Christian react, for the first time, to his now famous pull-up blooper.

Before sitting down with Rey, the guys talked about the Elimination Chamber PPV and Portland Trail Blazers star, Damian Lillard, who left Edge off his WWE Mount Rushmore.
